Yes, but the answers mean different things. 111 * 11 = 1221 (octal) 111 * 11 = 1221 (decimal) = 2305 (octal) 111 * 11 = 1221 (hex) = 4641 (decimal) = 11041 (octal) And of course, in binary 111 * 11 = 10101 so even the answer is different.
