Hi Robert, We haven't taken the plunge into Vista here (we're waiting for everyone else to shake out problems :-) ), but quite a while ago we switched our news readers to Thunderbird (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/). Their web site claims to support Vista (click on System Requirements under the download button).
Thunderbird is an e-mail client as well as a news client, but you don't have to use the e-mail part if you don't want to.
