Thanx to all who responded,
I've never had any problems with outlook express under any
edition of Windows for newsgroup reading and writing, ( of course I
never used it for e-mail...for that I always used OutLook 2002 which
seems to be working mostly okay under Vista except for having to enter
my password all the time! ), but this new "WinMail" application that
comes with Vista is a piece of trash!
I tried all the apps suggested last night but Thunderbird won
out being that it seemed to offer the most features and was the tightest
of them all.
