How about a potted version on the list signature the list appends - then
there's really no excuses
eg:
For List Admin send an email with the following format
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] From: <you> Subject: <blank>
Body: subscribe delphi John Doe unsubscribe offtopic
Shouldn't overload the server should it?

etc - more than one command can go in a message.
