Just a gentle reminder to those on the list of some of the guidelines about posting
to the list.
1. Remember you are posting to a couple of hundred people - tailor your content
to everyone. If you have a message for a person, or a comment meant for one or
two people, please use the facilities of your email system to mail those people
direct - do not use the list.
2. As technical list, it is intended to provide a forum for technical issues, so one
line, off the cuff responses are not appropriate. Again, should you want to make
the point, you should send the message direct to the individuals concerned, not
the list.
3. Subject lines: If you move the content of the discussion away from the original
message posted, then please amend the subject line. You may reference it as
in.. New Subject. was " ". This helps people know what the message is about
without having to read it all, and still know it evolved from an earlier thread.
4. Remember, technical not emotional huh!
