Why can't you use the Hydra add-on (which allows Terminal Server to use the
ICA-3 protocol) and use Citrix's DOS clients?

Hyperterminal uses standard Windows API calls - just take a look at
HYPERTRM.DLL (which is where all the functionality lies).
