thanks I will have a look...I did see a mention about that in the latest INF
file I got from 3Com for my modem....I know there is a VxD called
Serwave.VxD in Windows 95, and something similar under NT (although a DRV
or a SYS).

On my v90 KTX voice modem and some others I have installed recently
there is an option under Windows to simply install the modem as a wave
playing device - you can then drive it from the multi-media API .
Reminds me - need to ask Borland to include a serial port component in
Delphi 5 or 6. Damm fustrating not having one built in...
