>From first glance at the feature list I am rather disappointed for the
potential $600.00 odd upgrade.
To me there does not appear to be very much that they are upgrading for the
professional version. A better debugger well that has been needed for a
while, a few IDE features. Most of the enhancements are only included in the
enterprise edition.
So anyone wanting the ADO controls, go and upgrade to the enterprise
edition.
NOT IMPRESSED
They can't even gets the links on their announcemnt page working.
All of the following only on the enterprise version.
New! MS SQL Server 7 support
New! ADOExpress: Complete support for MS ADO for fast access to all types of
information
New! ADO OLE DB and RDS Connection components for complete control over all
aspects of information retrieval
New! ADO Command component for controlling data manipulation and definition
New! ADO DataSet component for maintaining complete control while navigating
and updating data
New! ADO support for Tables, Queries and Stored Procedures to get up to
speed quickly and migrate your existing Delphi applications to ADO
