It TOTALLY avoids the BDE, as does the InterbaseExpress components - no
BDE's need apply. Also, 'cos MS are only really supporting ADO/OLEDB for
MSSQL7, ADO is a very good option if you are looking to use MSSQL7.

I dont know if it will work with the ADOMD stuff - "plato" or the
decision support system/cubeing stuff they have in SS7 - as I dont have
a SS7 machine available anymore. :) But it should, as long as you handle
the odd format of data it brings back.
