Since DbLib talks to MSSQL7, except for the new data types, no GUID fields -
oh dear, it should talk to MSDE also, ie Delphi via BDE. Haven't tried it
tho - ADO seems a better bet.

Hmmm, sounds interesting, is there a trial version of this server you can
download? And do you just access the server via ADO or what? BDE?
