'Nother Newbie question
When installing the BDE on a client's site (using Wise) what is the
recommended procedure if it seems that their system already has a copy
installed?
Do you just not bother installing again?
Do you install your version oiver the top of the existing one ie. in the
same directory?
Do you install your copy in a different directory?
Is it normal procedure to routinely check whether there is alraedy an
existing copy on the target system? I must confess to only being aware
of an existing copy if Wise suggests an installation directory other
than the standard Borland\Common\BDE.
