Hi all.

I had to fix a bug in an app. last night that I had written a year or so
back.
This in itself was pretty straight forward, BUT since I wrote the app. I
have installed NT and Delphi 2 or 3 times for various reasons, and there for
when I loaded the app's project file, it wanted all these diff. componets
that i didn't have installed, which i knew about anyway, but then I thought,
well how do others get on when they develop systems for diff. clients, and
they write special wee comps. for the project that can only be used for that
project, and then have to fix a bug in another app. ??
To my thinking, I thought, well they must run into the same probs as me.

So I was wondering, do you keep a back up of the VCL (dcl30.dcl or
dcl40.dpl) for each client and then simply restore it when a bug need to be
fixed ??

I am interested to know what methods people are using for this problem...

Thanks,
