They do often go hand in hand thou :)

*rubs eyes and attempts to wake up*

IBPerl has been available from www.interbase.com for some time now, it's
written and maintained by Bill Karwin, I had a quick look at it awhile ago but
never actually got anything working. As for PHP, I have some old "in progress"
documentation on using PHP/Interbase but http://www.php.net has more a recent
version.

Unfortunately I never actually got around to trying it out as I made the move
to using PostgreSQL/PHP on my Linux box (mainly as they runs on my web-host as
well).

The IBPerl webpage can be found at:

  http://www.interbase.com/downloads/ibperl.html

There is also a version of IBPerl that works on Win32 as well (for users of
ActiveState's ActivePerl package, or other perl32 implementation).

The current documentation for PHP/Interbase can be found in the annotated
online manual at:

  http://www.php.net/manual/ref.ibase.php3

Hope some of this helps, are there many people in NZ using/looking at PHP for
web-applications in a commercial setting? I use it for my own sites and love
it, although it's OOP model could be improved (which afaik is in the latest
version).

Mark
