Another thought - Corel/Inprise/Borland is probably going to try and follow
the MS model, but on Linux. That is, OS, Dev Tools, Office Products, etc (it
did work for MS...). If Linux does become as popular as some predict, it may
just work.
If that is the case, the next logical step will be for MS to buy the Windows
version of Delphi. That fills the distinct gap in the MS development tool
arsenal and leaves the new Linux Powerhouse to concentrate on Linux :-)
