Ok...well thats what I am trying to find out.
I guess I have to aks the question...."CAN D5 do cached updates with
interbase WITHOUT the BDE ?"
I really am looking for a YES or NO answer.

We need to know this so that we can start porting D3 stuff to D5.
As far as I know, our D3 app. uses/needs to use cached updates...dot ask me
why, I have only been at the job 4 days, and these subtal things have not
been made clear to me as of yet.
But I know the next major thing we are under taking is a move to D5 but the
above info is really needed.
