There is an embedded installation guide which tells you how to write your
own install script.

For one of our applications we include Interbase in the install script (a
Wise 7 script). At install time the user gets to choose to install, update
or skip the Interbase Server bit in exactly the same way that they would
select any other options. It's fairly straight forward and has a few added
benefits: We only need to include the IB files that we need and everything
ends up in the same setup.exe.
