Yes, it can. Just remember you can't be connected when you do the restore. It's a 
handy thing to do for clients who are not in an environment where there is a system 
administrator.

I've got a small util that just calls GBAK.EXE with the appropriate params and does 
the some checking for any errors in the log file.
