>From memory, the problem is that windows can redirect speaker
beeps to the audio-system. And if you have no audio speakers or
they are turned off, you dont get anything. I have a setup option
in my apps. If you really want to use the PC speaker, try the beep
function, it takes freq and ms. Otherwise use Messagebeep.
