I Tried that, NOW I get the error :-   Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e4d' [Visigenic][ODBC InterBase 4.x Driver][InterBase]Unable to complete network request to host "vssmain"  The thing that kinda worries me is, the driver I am using is the Visigenic one, but is a 1995 one. IS this the latest driver ?? I tried to connect to this database from Access using the same ODBC connection, and I get teh same error ! So I am now wondering IF this driver is OK......... I can connect to MSSQL DB's fine. Has anyone succesfully done whatI am wanting to do before, AND got it to work ? Am I simply missing something obvious ??
