Someone was having trouble with IB6 on Win2000 - with it overwriting a DLL or something similar. I found this in the sourceforgue discussion list: The only differences between the 6.0 and 6.0.1 InterBase binary kits are: 1. The timestamp on a MicroSoft DLL file included in the Windows binary kit (which was wrong in the 6.0 kit, causing harm to Win2K systems on which it was installed); 2. A improved version of IBConsole (a Windows-only GUI program) included in the Windows binary kit. (Thank you, Jeff Overcash.) The 6.0.1 Windows kit was created mainly because Win2K users were suffering from the mistake in item 1. Since item 2 was available, we included it. There are no other changes, and thus no changes whatsoever to Linux or Solaris binary kits. --Chris Jewell (a/k/a MrDimples) Nic. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Zealand Delphi Users group - Delphi List - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website: http://www.delphi.org.nz To UnSub, send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body of "unsubscribe delphi"
