Apologies for interrupting the list with non-Delphi stuff (well it sort of
is), but most of you haven't seemed to mind posting job opportunities here
in the past....
We have a vacancy for a Delphi programmer early in the New Year.
The main responsibilities are:-
* Maintenance and minor enhancements to a multi-user Point-Of-Sale
database app (Borland Pascal with Dbase).
* Maintenance and minor enhancements to a multi-user stock control
database app (Delphi 1 with Paradox).
* Maintenance and minor enhancements to a multi-user reporting app
(Delphi 4 with Paradox and QuickReport).
* And the biggie is a rewrite of all the above apps into a Delphi 4
(or 5) Interbase app (probably as separate modules which can form one app or
be sold separately).
There will probably also be an opportunity to cross-train in a MS C++ plus
SQL database app.
