Along these lines, has anyone had any experience with BeOS, either on a
PowerPC or x86 platform?  It seems on the surface to be an interesting OS. 
Built on top of *nix with pervasive multi-threading (good for some things,
not hot for others), OS support for object persistance and interaction,
etc.  Would be interested to hear of other peoples reactions to it.
