If its it the language/compiler you have issues with, thats FreePascal not 
Lazarus.  I'm not sure about Borlands extensions or objectization of 
Pascal, I guess they have copyrights on it, what about the original pascal 
implementation?  Does the language specific say no one can make other 
implemtations (pity for those other pascal compilers out there).

As for the syntax highlighting someone else mentioned, how else would you 
highlight code?  its a common thing, and well colour wise, that choice. 
Its highlighted exactly the same, cause it makes sense to, alot of editors 
highlight exactly the same as delphi - poor them :(
