reguarding Delphi5 and XP common controls. I've noticed the same sort of wierdness in our application when I did the same thing. But I soon realised that getting Delphi 5 to do XP controls is not a trivial thing, and secondly Delphi 7 has built in support for all the theming stuff and is being released around the end of the month (or so my sources tell me). So I'd wait for all Delphi 7 which will have code to address lots of these issues. If you are really panting to get into theming check out Mike Lische's home page http://www.lischke-online.de/ because the code he has there is what is shipped in Delphi 7! And this should provide for most of the wierdness to be corrected.
