Exactly. Problem with IT in our company is anyone good get p*ssed off with
bullsh^t like this which happens all the time, and leaves. Leaving deadwood
and dipsh^ts running the place.

Major problem is we are a Satellite operation running out of ChCh, and get
unilateral decisions made for us from Head Office, with no good reason,
because it doesn't fit in with the way they do things up there.

Anyway, I don't care I'm outta here next Wednesday. So if anyone in sees a
job for a Delphi Developer for Progressive, take my advise, don't apply.

Isn't it always :(

The problem in many cases seems to be that many sysadmins and IT staff
don't start out as computer enthusiasts so they have only a limited
understanding of how systems work, resulting in them getting funny ideas
about the right way to do things when they stray slightly outside what
they learnt in their MCSE or equivalent courses.

In this case you might want to at least try to calmly explain to them
why they shouldn't do it that way.
