Well my DFM IS text, BUT upon a closer look, I found that ther WAS indeed some crap code in there on one line. I DID actually look, but I think I was looking for a chunck of code rather than a single line....that will learn me. I have had this problem with a DFM being in binary instead of text. Not just the file being binary, but corrupted binary - seems to have been done by MS Visual Source Safe (the MS VSS is just a guess though!).
