Hi Dudes. Finally got Rxlib sorted by using a cloned version (rxlibD7.zip) which had a few problems, some of them in the default component directories but eventually got it sorted.
LESSON LEARNT despite some component collections may be very attractive in some functions, use them as a last resort if there are native vcl components that will do the job _almost_ as well. If I had done the above migration to D7 would have been much easier. Sure there are occasions where special jobs than need special parts, but there was no real need for me to use an RXGroupbox instead of a Groupbox and so on. Now I have Rxlib working, it will let me work backwards to replace those parts with native Delphi 7 parts that are similar.
