I am trying to convince a colleague, who is about to start the process of rewritting
an old COBOL Dos app to Windows, to consider Delphi as a platform.
One of the modules in the app is a POS/Invoicing module.
I was just wondering how other people have gone about the POS Entry. I like using a
Table(Grid) and doing "on the fly" data validation. It tends to get a bit tedious
tracking each column etc, especially if the rows are not necessarily consistant.
Are there any components that lessen the headaches that can be involved? What
approaches have other peole taken?
Any comment welcome.
