This is a frustrating one that nevertheless must either have a really simple answer that I have yet to find, or I belong to the long list of programmers who have little frustrations with the way Borland opens new projects.

Whenever I start up Delphi, I never want to open a project in the Delphin "Bin" directory, despite Delphi assuring me that this is the very best place to start. So I negotiate through the directories to the place where I find and open the current project.

Sure, I can open last project, if I want to look again at that example code from some library or other or work on something I worked on last that has nothing to do with what I want to do now, but this seems to be a pain.

Is there a simple answer to this one? I can't find a "Starting Directory" in any of the menu choices under the Tools menu. Perhaps I'm missing something?

Anyone have an answer to this one?

Steve
