2 small questions:
1 - is there any way to set an OpenDialog window (used to select a file) into
the details view - ie so Date Modified can be seen?
2 - Is there any way programmatically in Delphi to create a shortcut to a
program on the desktop? (Up to now I have been doing this with a custom Inno
setup install that only makes shortcuts).
(I found an example of creating a at

but was wondering if it uses ActiveX it might be prevented from running on some
systems - it did not work for me on Vista.
