Hi.. I had trouble with topgrid too after a while and I found it more and more difficult to make it meet our needs as time progressed.
We ended up using TVirtualTree which is free with source. I use that for all our grids and dataentry throughout the application. As to TopGrid.. I think you will almost be alone as far as features and maintenance go.
