Just got Delphi 2007. Some features talked about in the blogs are wholly missing, and the one little feature that anyone really ever cared about is . believe it or not not even working for me.
It seems simple enough. On my form I changed SheetOfGlass to TRUE compile and run. My form looks glassy, but nothing draws right. Black text is completetly missing from the form if I put text in another color on the form.. it is rendered in a barely-visible white. Other controls like show up unreadable with messed up colors. AM I COMPLETELY MISSING SOMETHING? TChart appears to be completely broken the SeriesList property is not properly loaded from the DFM. This is particularly annoying because I use it a lot for debugging and visualizing memory manager performance. ANYONE ELSE SEEING THIS? ANYONE HAVE A FIX/WORKAROUND? Some blogs mentioned updated Icon Support for large vista icons (much needed if you care about your application not looking cheap) but my prodding only yields the same old .ICO file support that existed in Delphi 1.0 or 2.0 or whatever. PNG and PNG transparency is also missing. I use The TPNGImage library for that in my old projects .
