Make your group boxes alNone to start. Put your new panel in with alLeft, then the splitter then another panel, make that alNone for now. Select the 2 groupboxes, cut them, select the alNone panel, make it alClient, paste (the groupboxes). There are other ways but that should work. No time to test, working from memory. Wayne
