I'm looking into installing the Skype API in an embedded application, perhaps
with a Linux OS to support it. It will need a video camera, speaker and mike
I/O, so perhaps Linux can provide those drivers and device supports. It will
also need a WiFi N port to connect with a local network.

Has anyone dug deep enough into the details of that configuration to know if it
would be a feasible project? I'm looking at an embedded X86 with WiFi
interface and about 8 MB of flash memory to hold the code. 2MB of RAM is
supplied, but it will probably need more than that to handle the video and
audio streams.

Please advise if you have some insight into that kind of embedded app.

Thanks,
-Rich

Rich Cooper
