Has anyone tried to make a Delphi 7 or other non-Microsoft executable a
"Standard App" in Windows 10 July before running the upgrade Windows 10
November to prevent them from being transferred to C:windows.old?

I have Win 8.1 Pro installations on two multi-boot (Ubuntu Linux 14.04
Grub controlled) machines each with 8 operating systems to test
software for others. I have not used the downloaded Windows 10 upgrade
because of known compatibility problems.
Using Win 7 Ultimate x32 with Delphi 7 and 2010, and XE6 with Win 7
Ultimate x64 works well. Perhaps I'll run the downloaded media update
for a later version of Windows 10 on the Win 8.1 partitions if things
stabilize, but until Win 7 "expires" in 2020, it remains the vehicle for
work.
