Ok, You may be able to override the paint method of a tmemo, and after a call to inherited do the drawing.
It will probably be easier to Overlay the TMemo with a TPaintbox and draw onto that.. TMemo is not good enough if you are talking about MS Word, or Rich edit style highlighting, and Object drawing. in that case you have a lot of work ahead of you. regards.
