> Does anyone else find that the Microsoft Natural 4000 keyboard breaks
rather more often than it should?

Of four MS Natural 4000's I have (or had) only one has ever developed a
problem, and that was only after I accidentally doused it with some
coffee. So, I think your colleague must have unusual stress levels (or
have a secret coffee spillage problem). :)

[Why four ? Two at my previous employment (where the coffee incident
occurred, requiring replacement), one at my current employment (thanks Cam)
and one at home]

The one at home is at least 3 years old and still going strong - it didn't
even complain when I plugged it into my new Mac. :)

Before the 4000's I had 2 x Natural Pro's and a bona fide original
Natural, I miss the convenience of the USB hub in the Pro; those things
were built to last but were just too big and bulky so I flicked them - and
the original Natural - on TradeMe.

Shame I didn't know about your hoard I would have gladly passed them on. :)
