SQL is not so hard to learn – if you are going to learn anything new its
amongst the more straightforward, and there are excellent references online, eg
http://blogs.teamb.com/craigstuntz/2004/06/16/417/
TQuery, connected to TProvider, TClientDataset and TDatasource (or you could
use TTable but TClientDataSet has advantages) and BDE is a simple matter to
connect to eg Firebird or Interbase etc.
