As I see it no chance of running existing Delphi stuff on Windows Phone.
That depends on Windows Phone (1) running on Intel x86 compatible chips (2)
Windows Phone supporting the Win32 API or Embarcadero releasing a Windows Phone
port. I wouldn’t hold my breath for any of those – as so far as I have heard
Windows 8 phone is moving in the metro type interface, and leaving all Win32
type APIs behind.

I believe all Windows phones currently use ARM processors and Delphi requires
Intel.
One of the new Windows Surface’s uses an Intel chipset and should run standard
Windows apps.
Looks like the future may be brighter with Intel releasing lower power and
faster chips later this year, so Windows 8 phones should soon be running
desktop apps.

The answer is a simple “No”. Don’t let the “Windows” bit fool you.

I downloaded this a while back and had a fiddle. The question is, how
compatible is the windows on cells and is MS working to be more compatible or
redefining things again for the phone specifically.
I have Android at present and it is great, but I have a PC, tablet and phone
and I would like to combine the Phone and Tablet into one. I think a stylus is
then a must for the small screen. Have you every tried to work a spreadsheet on
your phone ?
Oh what I would do to have Office97 on my phone.
Back to the main question, do you think a Delphi 6 app will work on a Windows 8
phone ?
