Careful. The last time I complained about this very thing (years ago - some things never change, let alone improve) I got attacked for attacking Embarcadero. Expecting merely competencey and adequacy somehow gets you a reputation for being a whinger. Not unique to, but for some reason a particularly noticeable problem in, the Delphi community. ;)
The excuse I got last time (and the time before that and the time before that... ) was that "Marketing use a different mailing list than the registered user list". i.e. the right hand making excuses for the left hand as if there were no central, co-ordinating function available or even imaginable. Anyway, semi-rant-echo response to rant over. :) On 12 May 2014 18:40, Jeremy Coulter <[email protected]> wrote: > Is it just me or do other people get somewhat dismayed when you receive > emails from Embarcadero telling you about in this case "New features for > RAD/Delphi Application Development" and the whole thing is telling me about > a product I already own!! > Its a complete waist of resource and my time (having to read it).
