As the List Admin I try to assist the supplier (originally Borland, and now Embarcedero / ActiveNZ ) to communicate with the List Group. They and their agents either post direct to the Group, or via me. I'll talk with them regarding this point, as ours is not the only emailling list they have to communicate with regarding the release of new product versions. Maybe the List needs a targetted Post? Personally, where I find read stuff I already know, I let my mind simply pass over it until I find something I didn't know, like some of the gems in Jolyon's extensive posts. In many others, where I'm reading stuff I already know, I try not to let that be a negative, but accept it as being part of a Group with many different levels of expertise. Goes with the territory. Some of us have now over 20 years working with Delphi. (Note: Thanks Wade for getting us on the Beta! ) If you are looking at more technical details of any release, may I suggest following the Embarcadero Blog site: http://blogs.embarcadero.com There are 69 different Blogs, so there should at least be one to suit. With the advent of many new product / features, there is now much more marketing activity - always a criticism of the old Borland days - and I personally hope they make headway. I love my "delphi". If nothing else, the more frequent seminars being arranged gives us the opportunity to meet up at a nice hotel, and free coffee & nibbles.
