Loaded Delphi 10 Seattle, and tested it on a screen parameters test program I
have.
1 - IDE loads in about 10 seconds, well considerably faster than XE8 and uses
about 30% less memory on startup, and a little less after compiling/running.
2 – No Castalia – has it been withdrawn or is an option?
3 – Have found one significant bug: Windows 8.1 if have screen set to 100%
text size (96DPI) then all is OK. If text size set to 125% (120DPI) then all
is OK except for the Project options menu, and the main Delphi options menu,
both of which have the text items much larger and the grid sizes much smaller,
so that none of the options to set can even be seen – a total fail. These
menus are needed so IDE is unusable at that resolution. So I guess the
intention is to only use at 100% text size. (Not sure of the behaviour on
Windows 7 or 10).

Sounds like it is meant to work but there is a bug. Not very clever but as
software developers surely we’ve all been there before?
I’m more interested to find out what the software delivers in terms of speed
and stability. The name makes me laugh and does some unnecessarily confusing
but ultimately isn’t very relevant.

Just the typical Embarcadero approach these days... marketing over substance.
In this case, make an offer without properly following through on delivery.
Heck, even the regular online shop has fundamental problems... click thru to
the "Buy now" page for Seattle / Delphi 10 (DX) and you land on the C++ Builder
(CX) products page.
DX, 10, Seattle... Embarcadero can't even seem to make up their minds what to
call their own products and are just throwing everybody else's marketing
techniques into the pot. They quietly retired the CodeGear brand, wheeled in
the "XE" brand which also now appears to have fallen by the wayside in favour
of jumping on the current "10" 'bandwagon', oh and let's throw a place-name
into the mix as well. I'm a little surprised they didn't stick an "i" and an
"S" in there (perhaps a "C" on the "Starter" Edition for good measure?) and
also add in a confection/dessert name as well, just to cover ALL the bases.
Perhaps that will come next: iDelphi 11S Cleveland Trifle

Thanks for your help Russell and Kultar but I must be really thick or
something. If I use the link you provide Russell I can order OK and on the
final shopping cart the amount is 1458.90 USD for a Delphi upgrade. This is 10%
off the standard price of 1621.00 USD. I was expecting to see 1215.75 USD which
is 25% off the normal price as advertised in the promotion. I have sent a
couple of queries off so hopefully I'll get a reply from Embarcadero.
