This brings me back to my earlier post... Where are the manuals??? It sounds like they don't exist... I just thought that getting the maintenance version of Delphi 8 meant that I only got the manuals on CD, but there aint any there either... Just online help (though I have not had a thorough look thru all the CDs yet).
With Delphi 7 you got a decent manual, with Delphi 8 being such a big change, I would of thought a manual that you could sit back and read would be a necessity, or at least be very handy. Hope Borland is not shooting itself in the foot getting developers frustrated... (or the other foot... The first shot for me was when I got maintenance cause I was told it would include Delphi 8... No one told me (or maybe no one knew) that it was only going to be a .net version) Anyway, grips aside, when I get time I will be trying to have a play with .net...
