Maybe you should cut the middle men out (Borland NZ) and buy
it through the states. You'd probably have to pay the GST on
import but even then it's cheaper.

Compare $3000US for D8.net architect versus $5625NZ

Add GST and convert to NZ and it's a little over $5000NZ.

Although one thing to note is that the NZ Borland online
shop lists D8pro at $1873 not $2079 and D8enterprise at
$4687 not $5203 as you mention. Possibly you're adding GST a
second time.
