Having said all that, which I mostly agree with, I still find that Delphi .NET is a much better experience than using VS.NET. I much prefer the Delphi IDE even though it can be a bit sluggish.
Slightly more offtopic: I have just read some docs on the up coming Whidbey version of VS.NET. I just browsed really but some of the features in ASP.NET Whidbey are very mouth watering indeed. Thats the way that I read it anyway - they quickly patched some huge errors and are still working on a much more signifigant patch that will make the product more usable, and IMHO bring the quality/polish/shine that it should have had when first released.
