I'm as anti M$ as the next Delphi Guy, 50% of the servers we ship run Linux,
I use Firefox and Mozilla, All my Web Dev is in PHP. The only M$ product 
I like is MSSQL,
but......VC# is $182, and has a language construct and IDE to rival or 
better Delphi so
as the gap is so narrow I see no point in marginalizing myself by using 
an second
fiddle dev product...bottom line C# is good
