hi just open it up in the sql design view - bang in ther sql you have - where there are parameters put square brackets around them with the name with out the semicolon table names are the names as they appear in the table view screen(which may different to the actual table if they are external links) Fields are tablename.field Access will give half intelligent answers to errors
