What is the best method of providing an easy to use, user definable report.

I need to produce an A5 booklet (A4 folded) where the user has complete control of Font, Style, and Layout etc… I thought a Word template would be the answer, but I am having trouble working out how to set it up. A Word template would be good, but how do I fill in the document with multiple records of data?

 

I can easily fill in a fixed report from a template; it’s just a variable number of records I can’t get my head around…

 

Is there a better way?

 

I’m using D2005 pro.
