Q1 - Like Stephen I have been using standard Delphi stringgrids and the
onDrawCell event to enhance appearance, and it works well, but I would like
a stringgrid with a couple of added features - mainly sorting by columns,
also justification in cells, and font/bolding/colours, without going to the
full expense and overhead of the powerful ones like TMSgrid or Woll2woll etc
- I wouldn't use most of the stuff, and I am not using the DBGrid parts
anyway - just standard grids I load myself.
Any recommendations of good cheap reliable enhanced stringgrids with enough
of these features, I should I bite the bullet and go to one of the
heavy-duty ones?
Q2 - What is the easiest way to change the appearance of the programs icon
in the task bar - (I have a monitor program that can be paused and it would
be cool to have the taskbar icon alter to indicate if paused or running).
At present it is not in the system tray - does it get easier or change how I
do it if I move the program to there?
