I hate doing that, just sent the email and reread the "HideSelection" property - I works the opposite to what I'd expect, but does actually do what I need.
Cheers Giovanni ================ Hi I'm using a treeview and want to click on a node and then use some sliders/editboxes to alter properties related to the selected node. Selecting the node to twiddle is fine - it becomes selected and is visibly affected (goes blue) but when I click or mousedown on the slider the treeview loses focus and the user can't tell which node in the tree is being affected. Is there any way (other than using the Treeview State images) to do this? I'd like the Blue "Selected Node" indication to NOT go away, after all the treeview still knows (via its selected property) which node is the favoured one. Ideas would be appreciated.
